Fish the Florida Keys

Hello Captain John,

My dad along with my brother, my aunt and girlfriend were down in Key West this last December and fished a full day charter with you. We had a great time on the charter as it was alot of fun and would like to do it hopefully again this year. Just wanted to send some of the pics that you might want to put on your website. We all want to thank you for the safe and fun time had by all for the best charter we have ever been on. We are looking forward to a summer weekend trip. We will contact you when our plans are final. We are interested in renting out your rental house along with a charter.

Hi John:
We got home safe and sound....and now....looking at the pictures that we took during our deep sea fishing with you, we are reminiscing about the good time we had. As promised I enclosed a couple of pictures for you to publish. Do you think they can be published?...are they good enough?

By the way, as you remember I tried to write down the names of all fish you had given me but the name of my fish is unreadable on the napkin I used for my notes. Could you please let me know the name of my "great fish", it was very tasty.

This reminds me that I need to tell you...we fell in love with the Keys and plan to come back next February. Could you schedule us for a day of deep sea fishing during the first week of February, so we can eat fish for the rest of the month while there.Please let us know if the pictures are published, we are very proud of them...-:))Hope to see you next year...until then our very Best,

Hey John

     As demanded (LOL), here are the pictures of the lemon shark and Permit that my son Bradley caught and released while fishing with you while we were on vacation in the Keys.  If you don’t remember us, we were the father/son that had fished with Capt. Dexter in Key West and were trying to make up a “rained out day”, when Capt. Dexter got sick and referred us to you.
     We had the time of our lives, especially Bradley; he hasn’t stopped talking about the “sharks” and the “permit” since we returned home. He has made it quite obvious that he is never going to let me forget the fact that he “jumped a tarpon” with Capt. Dexter and caught a permit with you, and I came home “skunked”!  
     We really appreciate you taking us on such short notice, especially since it was the Fourth of July holiday.  I can guarantee that every time we come to the Keys, we will be fishing with you if you will have us and can fit us in.  Next time we will be sure to give you a lot more advance notice!
     I can not thank you enough for taking us out,……you absolutely “made my son’s” vacation, which in turn made my wife and my vacation!  It truly was a “Vacation of a lifetime” for all of us, and we can’t wait to get back down there.  For me it was 25+years to long in returning to the Keys, as I spent a lot of my college days skipping school and driving to the Keys (not such a good idea “grade wise”, but you know how it is when you’re young).

Once again, THANK YOU for everything!!

     Just wanted to thank you again for a great trip on Monday.  I couldn’t have asked for a better time.  I appreciated the fact that you were not punching a time clock and were willing to finish off the day with a great run.  I will be contacting you this summer probably in July.  How far in advance should I book?  Let me know so I can arrange the trip.

     Just wanted to send you a special thank you for the great trip you provided for our family.  Everyone had a great time and you provided one boy with the most special day of his vacation.  Chase was still grinning from ear to ear when he boarded the plane the next day…with his iced dolphin fillets!

     Great job for the Ridgeway clan last week!  We had a great time and really enjoyed the hospitality while aboard your boat.  The kids had a great time and are still talking about the biggest fish caught.  We have some friends heading down there next month and I’ll be sure to recommend your fine outfit for fun in the sun!

     Hey Mr. we want to thank you for the great time.  Too bad the weather was so rough.  We will be back to see ya soon.  If ever you need a pool boy, boat waxer or whatever call and we will sell everything and be back down.  We will never stay anywhere but the Lower Keys again.  By the way Tori is still walking around saying ”pull-reel”.

Thanks for a great day of fishing.  I enjoyed your Captains ability and friendly personality, super boat.  Looking forward to future charters.  Hopefully get some of our fellow club members on future trips.  I dropped off the bucket I borrowed from you for my fillets.  I put it outside your storage shed.  I believe I left my Cabelas blue Gore Tex rain parka on your boat.  I can not find it, if you can, please send it to me it is my favorite rain parka.

Just a note to thank you for the great time on your boat catching some fish.  Thank you for sharing your great home with us, Mary Ann had a good time catching fish, cant stop telling all about them.  (get bigger all the time).  Loved your cool fish and stuff.

John, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for a very enjoyable (and delicious) fishing trip last week.  Debbie, my daughter Jackie and I had a great time on the FUNYET with you.  Thanks also for the nice tour of your home and property…very nice, just what I want down there.      Just a note to let you know what a blast we had fishing with you Aug. 17th.  We took the snapper to the Conch + Stein and it turned out great.  We cooked the Jack the next day at camp in olive oil, garlic and hot pepper flakes!  Made a lot of friends at the Big Pine Key Fish Camp with samples! 
     It was a great time and the photos turned out great too.  We look forward to fishing with you again!

Doug and I really enjoyed our fishing trip with you back on 3/16.  You and the conditions made it a day to remember.
I've attached small versions of the best still pictures I took that day.  I also have several short videos that I can compress and email to you, if you're interested.  Just let me know.

I called Dusty after our return and told him how well his recommendation turned out.  Oh, and I like your new website - it is much improved and works perfectly.

Just wanted to say thank you again for a wonderful trip flats fishing during our stay at Little Palm Island.  We had a great day with you and are eager to come back so RJ can catch his own bone fish!  We'd love to have copies of the pictures you took of us hugging our fish once you figure out how to work your camera.  Thanks again and next time I promise I will bring the polarized not the Prada sunglasses!
